Fundraising


Donations are received from organizations, businesses, individuals and trusts through mailings and personal interviews, and fundraising for specific projects.

Various functions and golf days are held to raise funds as well as awareness for Older Persons in need.

An alternative form of income is through business partnerships.

We are 18A registered, therefore, our donors get a tax benefit.

We have a unique relationship with our donors. The Donors are our clients. We want to take care of them. 

These are some of the things we do to ensure the Donor's satisfaction:  

  • We bring together needs and resources in a professional and responsible way
  • Service providers with unblemished records are scrutinized carefully
  • We maintain cost-effective administration and financial control
  • Ensure correct allotment and utilization of funds
  • Give frequent information (feed back) to donors through a six monthly Newsletter 
  • Donors can become members with full voting rights at General Members' Meetings
  • The wishes of donors are honored regarding services to be supported
