What is Help Seniors? Help Seniors originated because there are thousands of Older Persons in South Africa who do not enjoy Successful Ageing and have mostly to fend for themselves. Many lead a precarious, poverty-stricken existence because their resources have been prematurely depleted.  For most, recourse to children is not an option. There is little help from the Government, while welfare organizations struggle financially and are unable to help everyone. Help Seniors was formed out of necessity in March 2006 by a number of concerned community leaders with long standing experience of the situation of Older Persons in South Africa. Develop and maintain partnerships with service providers and strategic role players.  Recruit human- and financial resources and allot it. Protect the interests of donors and guarantee regular feed back on spending of funds. Endeavour to promote a positive image of Older Persons and the Service Providers we support.
